Flute Day Delémont, Switzerland in Sept 2019
On 21 and 22 September 2019 Wil Offermans presented a two-day Flute Day event at the Ecole Jurassienne et Conservatoire de Musique in Delémont, Switzerland. For two days he presented workshops for the flute-students of the flute-teachers Laure Franssen, Aurora Pajón Fernández, Cécile Moser and Silvie Devincenti. They worked on many of his pieces, including Labyrinth, Dance with Me, Jungle Dance, Thumpy, ethnic flutes, Honami and Kojo-no Tsuki. All these pieces where presented in the final concert. Flute Day Montabaur, Germany in June 2019
On 25 June 2019 Wil Offermans presented a flute event at the Landesmusikgymnasium Rheinland-Pfalz in the wonderful city of Montabaur in Germany, just north of Frankfurt. From the morning until dinner time Wil Offermans worked with about 30 students. The students, guided by their flute-teachers Wolfgang Wendel and Karoline Schaeferdiek, had prepared intensively during the year many of Offermans compositions, mostly ensemble works but also solo and duo compositions (click the image on the right to see the photo gallery). Later in the evening they together performed a nearly 90 minutes concerts with on the program:

Sweden-Norway Teaching Tour in March 2018

Flute Days with Wil Offermans in Geneve, Switzerland
From 17 - 19 November, Wil Offermans was invited by the Conservatoire Populaire de Musique, Danse et Théâtre, Geneva to work with their flutists. Workshops took place on 18 and 19 Nov. with about 100 flute-students. During these days they worked on various of Offermans' ensemble compositions, including Dance with Me, Jungle Dance and Itsuki-no-Komoriuta. On 17 Nov. he presented a solo recital, accompanied by flute teachers of the Conservatoire Populaire de Musique (at Studio de Agostini). On sunday 19 Nov. the project was concluded by a spectacular final concert (at Salle Frank-Martin). Click the image to see the photo gallery.
Flute Ensemble Day in Biberach, Germany
On 21 October 2017, Wil Offermans presented a Flute Ensemble Day at the Musikschule of Biberach in Germany. During the day, he worked with the flutists on various subjects and pieces, including Eternal Winds and Voices of Nagasaki. Flute Summer Course 2017
The 26th edition of the international Flute Summer Course by Dutch flutist-composer Wil Offermans has been held from July 22nd until 29th, 2017 in Sayalonga (Malaga), Spain with participants from Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain and the USA. In this exotic and inspiring ambiance and a climate of dynamic nature and cultural inspiration Offermans conducted the course, sharing his contemporary approach on flute playing with the participants. Flute quintet 'Forbidden Valley' published by Zimmermann
The flute quintet Forbidden Valley by Wil Offermans has now been published at Musikverlag Zimmermann, Germany. The composition is for: 3 flutes, alto and bass flute, or for the exceptional low flutes quintet: bass flute, bass flute F, contrabass flute, contrabass flute F and double contrabass flute. The score includes part scores for both combinations. Using tongue pizzicati, wind tones and interlocking structures, Forbidden Valley discloses an imaginative sound space and a musical eco-system where each element coexists and interrelates with other elements. Concert & Workshops with Zagreb Flute Ensemble in Zagreb
From 28th April until 1st May 2017, Wil Offermans has been in Zagreb to work with the Zagreb Flute Ensemble on various of his pieces (Itsuki-no-Komori-Uta, Bamburia and Dance with Me). Other collaborators include the Academy of Music Zagreb and the University of Zagreb. Offermans also presented various classes, including a class on circular breathing and a Thumpy class for children and teachers. Together they finished the project with a concert on April 30th at 18:00 in the KD Vatroslav Lisinski Hall, Zagreb, which was recorded by the Croatian Radio. Video 'Eternal Winds' Flute Choir Mons Conservatory
New video of Eternal Winds, a composition by Wil Offermans, performed by the Flute Choir of the Royal Music Conservatory of Mons (Belgium) with flute professors: Marc Grauwels, Gérard Noack and Jean Prévot. This piece includes various extended techniques like wind tones, whisper tones and multiphonics. The piece is published by Musikverlag Zimmermann and suitable for both flute octet as well as flute ensemble.
Flute Day in Borken - NR Westfalen, Germany
13th Nov. 2016 a Flute Day at the Music School Borken, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany: Flute a with Wil Offermans for flute students of the music schools of Borken, Coesfeld, Ahaus and Bocholt. International Flute Summer Course 2016
