Duo Ueda Offermans concert Rietberg Museum, Zurich, Switzerland

On the 3 November 2021, Duo Ueda Offermans performs at Rietberg Museum in Zurich on the occasion of the exhibition ‘Japanese medieval narrations depicted in the arts’, with subtitling by musicologist Mr. Heinz-Dieter Reese. The program included: Atsumori, Dan-no-Ura arranged for biwa/voice and flute, Yoshitsune, and Murasaki-no-Ue from Tale of Genji (composed by Junko Ueda for biwa, voice and flute). It is the first concert by Wil Offermans after his recovery. See more info at the Rietberg Museum, Zurich.

Flute Day Delémont, Switzerland in Sept 2019

On 21 and 22 September 2019 Wil Offermans presented a two-day Flute Day event at the Ecole Jurassienne et Conservatoire de Musique in Delémont, Switzerland. For two days he presented workshops for the flute-students of the flute-teachers Laure Franssen, Aurora Pajón Fernández, Cécile Moser and Silvie Devincenti. They worked on many of his pieces, including Labyrinth, Dance with Me, Jungle Dance, Thumpy, ethnic flutes, Honami and Kojo-no Tsuki. All these pieces where presented in the final concert. Flute Days with Wil Offermans in Geneve, Switzerland

From 17 - 19 November, Wil Offermans was invited by the Conservatoire Populaire de Musique, Danse et Théâtre, Geneva to work with their flutists. Workshops took place on 18 and 19 Nov. with about 100 flute-students. During these days they worked on various of Offermans' ensemble compositions, including Dance with Me, Jungle Dance and Itsuki-no-Komoriuta. On 17 Nov. he presented a solo recital, accompanied by flute teachers of the Conservatoire Populaire de Musique (at Studio de Agostini). On sunday 19 Nov. the project was concluded by a spectacular final concert (at Salle Frank-Martin). Click the image to see the photo gallery.

Flute Day in Frick-Möhlin Aargau, Switzerland

  • 4th Nov. 2016: Music School Frick, Aargau, Switzerland: workshop extended flute techniques by Wil Offermans.
  • 5th Nov. 2016: Music school Möhlin, Aargau, Switzerland: Flute Day with Wil Offermans, which includes ensemble playing, Thumpy flute, ethnic flutes story, final concert with all participants.

Flute Day Visp (Oberwallis), Switzerland

On March 9th, Wil Offermans presented a Flute Day for about 45 flute students of the Musikschule Oberwallis Visp at the Zentrum Missione Naters/Brig in Switzerland. After workshops in the morning, the day ended with a presentation concert including: Jungle Dance, Kojo-no-Tsuki, Thumpy and Dance with Me. Click the image to see the photo gallery of the event. Flautando Flute Weekend, Boswil, Switzerland

Wil Offermans joined the Flautando Flute Weekend on 15-16 May 2010 with concerts, workshops and more aiming at both professional as well as amateur audiences. Other performers included Stefan Keller, André Bernhard and Ensemble Quintessenz Leipzig. The weekend took place at the historical Künstlerhaus / Alte Kirche in Boswill (Swiss), where Marcel Moyse used to present his flute seminars between 1964 and 1984.
