During October 1 and 2 the Syrinx Flute Festival took place in Feldkrich, Austria. Main guest was Wil Offermans, who gave a solo recital with spontaneous audience participation on Friday and a series of workshops on Saturday. This second day also ended with a concert, now with all participants performing. The audience was a mixture of both teachers as well as students from the area. Performed were Offermans' pieces including his solo pieces Ilios, Tsuru-no-Sugomori, Honami, Luna y Sierra, Duo, the ensemble piece Jungle Dance, Labyrinth, Working Songs 1 and 2, and the new dance-music piece Dance with Me a.o.
