Carinthian Flute Ensemble with Wil Offermans, Austria

Ossiach

From April 16 until 18, 2010 Wil Offermans presented a flute ensemble workshop for flute teachers from the southern Austrian region of Carinthia and beyond (click the image on the right to see the photo gallery of the event). The event was organised by CMA Carinthische Musikakademie and took place at the wonderful location at Stift Ossiach. Main focus of the workshop was the ensemble repertoire of Wil Offermans. On April 18th the ensemble, also directed by Offermans, presented a concert including the following works:

  • Ankunft der Königin von Saba ( G.F. Händel)
  • Itsuki-no-Komoriuta (W. Offermans)
  • Pavane (M. Ravel)
  • Tänze from Gayaneh (A. Khachaturian)
  • Tico-Tico no Fuba (Z. Abreu)
  • Tsuru-no-Sugomori (W. Offermans)
  • Kotekan (W. Offermans)
  • Luna y Sierra (W. Offermans)
  • Dance with Me (W. Offermans)
