new composition 'Dance with Me' published
The new composition Dance with Me by Wil Offermans has been published by Zimmermann, Frankfurt. The piece is a 'dance music' which can be performed by any size of flute ensemble, or alternatively even as a flute solo. In Dance with Me the flutists (only C-flutes) not only play the flute, but also perform some synchronized dance movements along the included accompaniment CD, which also includes a movement instruction video, which can be found also on YouTube here. Dance with Me is a most enjoyable piece and a great way to combine body movement and several extended playing styles. The book is expected to be available from October 23 at the Studio E online shop, or via your local music-store.
