Six Japanese Songs included:
1. Akatombo (Red Dragonfly)
composed by K. Yamada & Kei Tobiyama; arranged by Wil Offermans
This famous Japanese song refers to one’s childhood and describes the autumn scenery of red dragonflies with a glowing sunset.
2. Yume-Kaze (Dream Wind)
composed by Wil Offermans
An impression in a valley in Japan: Surrounded by mountains, happening suddenly to forget myself, the moment, Dream Wind, running through the valley, connecting between two memories of the past and future, Dream Wind, running in front of me.
3. Itsuki-no-Komoriuta (Lullaby of Itsuki Village)
traditional song, arrangement by Wil Offermans
In former times, the young nursemaids of Itsuki – a beautiful village in southern Japan – created this nostalgic melody while lulling the babies asleep, to describe their misfortune and distress. Nowadays, Itsuki is troubled by the construction of a water dam, which will destroy the village.
4. Kôjô-no-Tsuki (The Moon over the Ruined Castle)

In this well-known Japanese song, the quietness of the ruined castle with the moon shining above, activates the drifting memories of its once flourishing and rich era. Through the change of the time, the same moon appears.
5. Kagome Kagome (Children’s Circle Game)

Kagome Kagome (Crouch Crouch) is a famous Japanese game song for children. The child in the center of the circle has to guess at the end of the song, who is behind him/her. The song suggests a mythological atmosphere.
6. Kurokami Love
composed by Wil Offermans
This piece is dedicated to the mythological mountain of Kurokami in the southern Saga area of Japan. When climbing the mountain, one can experience the vibration of nature, full of graveness, authority and the power of universe.
